We're celebrating the 20th Anniversary of LOST with fan-favorite Hayley Leier (ADHD-DVD). After weeks of technical issues, EJ is back to talk about watching the last Jason Statham movie he hadn't seen with the deeply average Mechanic: Resurrection. Also, a favorite show comes to streaming and EJ talks about when he met James Earl Jones.

Episode 169 - The Jason Statham Film Festival - Parker with Justin Morissette

We're rewinding the Film Festival to take another look at Parker with special guest Justin Morissette (ADHD-DVD)! We talk about Taylor Hackford, Jennifer Lopez, Big Brother, post-pandemic movies, when an adaptation is maybe too faithful to the book, why that one scene is so much better than the rest of the movie, and much more! Check it out! We had so much fun that EJ's computer overheated and shut down mid-episode so there's going to be a transition that we did our best to smooth out.

After a hectic few weeks, EJ checks in with the movies and TV he's been watching. Twisters, Deadpool/Wolverine, Caped Crusader, Sunny, Time Bandits, and more! He has a sore throat, but he's doing his best.

This year, EJ makes a list of the pleasant surprises - the movies that were better than he was expecting or that nobody ever talks about but are actually really fun. It's just a little appreciation of our favorite guy in a podcast that is already largely about showing him appreciation.

Lenny Burnham (House of House, Chapter Surfing) returns to talk about Statham's first full movie in the Fast and Furious franchise. We talk about Deckard Shaw, the sometimes moving and sometimes bizarre ways they handled Paul Walker's death during filming, the franchise as a whole, the absolute shocking presence of Djimon Hounsou, and whether or not the streets do, in fact, always win. Plus all the tangents you've come to expect from a guest episode! We had a lot of fun and you will to! And then you should check out Lenny's podcasts and just be awash in fun.

Returning Champion Hayley Leier (ADHD-DVD) is back to talk about 2015's Spy, an out-and-out comedy where our guy gets to be really funny. We discuss Melissa McCarthy's career, how much Wonder Woman 1984 does not exist, Walton Goggins (who is not in the movie), and we spend a lot of time talking about comedy podcasts. This was so much fun to record and you will enjoy it unless you're an absolute pill.

Episode 163 - The Wild Card Defender Has Logged On

This week, EJ's avoiding the real world by watching The Bear and House of the Dragon. Plus, The Quick and the Dead absolutely rules, Ant-Man 3 remains delightful no matter what anybody says, and in the Jason Statham Film Festival, EJ turns out to be the number one fan of Wild Card. It's an occasionally thoughtful drama about a gambling addict who also has Bullseye powers and can kill you with a credit card.
