We begin our sporadic but comprehensive look at the Coen Bros. filmography! This week, EJ talks about their first movie, Blood Simple plus a bonus look at Crimewave, their collaboration with Sam Raimi. We're talking about what major director had the best debut and the sheer lunacy of Crimewave, a movie that is not good but also I love with all my heart.

Episode 225 - As Close to a Super Bowl Wrap-Up as We're Going to Get

This week, we're sort of looking at the Super Bowl movie trailers. Also, some recent good TV and I'm surprised at how good Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die and Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie are. It's largely a positivity episode except for how that Mandalorian teaser was pretty weak.

Episode 224 - A Return to Talking About Jason Statham

This week, some things I've been enjoying recently. Ponies, Primal, The Pitt, and at least one other show that doesn't start with 'P'. Also, the Jason Statham Film Festival returns with Shelter and it's always a pleasure to talk about Sam Raimi.
