In the Franchise Report, the Dirty Harry movies continue to be not nearly as good as he remembers. And the Jason Statham Film Festival brings us the underrated Parker. We're watching things!

One more episode of Ape Talk as EJ remembers when somebody got stabbed at his showing of King Kong (2005) and reflects on comics' greatest gorillas. In the franchise report, the third Dirty Harry movie is eminently forgettable and the Jason Statham Film Festival brings us the mixed bag that is Expendables 2.

This week, EJ remembers to talk about the new season of Fargo. Also, he doesn't spoil the wild thing that happens in Sugar but he does mention that a wild thing happens in Sugar. In movie news, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is good, Magnum Force is not, and in the Jason Statham Film Festival, he wanted to like safe more than he did. Plus, he hits 500 issues in his Daredevil reading project and he would like some credit for that.
